Following the success of the volume 1, which became the first anthology by an African to win the British Fantasy award, nominated for the Locus, British Science Fiction awards, and works in it winning and being nominated for the Nebula, Otherwise, Sturgeon, Nommo awards, etc, we will be returning to the world of Dominion: An Anthology of Speculative Fiction From Africa and the African Disapora.
The volume two will be titled Dominion II: Speculative Stories of Black Resistance from Africa and the African Diaspora. It will be edited by the same editors of volume one, Oghenechovwe Donald Ekpeki and Olivia Nightingale. It will be published by Crowne Books, owned by Olivia Nightingale, who published the volume 1.
The anthology will accept poetry and fiction and pay 8c per word for fiction for up to 17500 words. No works written with the assistance of AI tools are acceptable. You can see more of the submission guidelines here
