This will be my fifth nomination, having been shortlisted before in 2021 for best anthology, 2022 for best anthology and short fiction. 2023 for  best anthology, and now, for best anthology. It’ll be my fourth nomination for best anthology. I won it in 2021 with Zelda Knight for the Dominion anthology, making me the first African born writer to win the award.
